When the Jawbone Bluetooth came out it changed the cellular game. This week the Jambox hits the stands and is likely to do the same. It connects to any Blue tooth headsets, as well as laptops and iPads. With no docks and no wires, a range of 33 feet and a cord, just in case you want to stay connected, the Jambox allows you to play music wherever, whenever. You can use your iTunes, but no longer have to deal with the short tinny sounds of computer speakers.
The size of a coffee cup, but not nearly as fragile (the Jawbone Bluetooth makes include a carrying case) due to its rubber sides, the Jambox also allows you to download apps and use it as a speakerphone. MyTalk is free to download and works with all your other Jawbone Bluetooth devices. That means you can text, talk, or tweet with it and it can even read your e-mail.
The world’s smallest, best sounding speakerbox and speakerphone has an output of 85 decibels, which is louder than a motorcycle, but not quite as loud as a rock concert (120 Db). Retailing at $200, this is sure to be a hot item for the holidays this year.
